Safety First

The safety of our passengers and employees is our number one priority. With more than 10,000 flights operated, we have had a perfect record of safety since we began flight operations in 2017, and we plan to keep it that way.

Part 135 Certified

Roam is a certificated scheduled commuter air carrier under Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations, but our safety protocols match those required for much larger Part 121 flight operators. Our procedures exceed FAA, ICAO and Industry standards for aircraft equipment, pilot training and maintenance, because safety really is our first priority.

Raising the Bar on Training

We insist on the highest levels of training for all of our team members. Our pilots (both Captains and First Officers) are trained and certified at Flight Safety International in full-motion, advanced technology, level D simulators for unparalleled, proficiency based training. While we are single pilot certified, we always operate with a two pilot flight crew with a highly-qualified, well trained and experienced Captain in the left seat. Our safety focused training extends to our maintenance department and operational support departments as well, using Flight Safety International for technical training on the Pratt & Whitney PT6A engine.

Safety Management System

Roam has developed and implemented a robust Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with FAA regulation and guidance that supports our organizational culture of safety. Our SMS program follows the FAA framework and that of many other top safety organizations in the industry.

As an ARGUS PRISM customer, ROAM has chosen to invest in everything we need to develop, implement, and maintain a compliant and effective Safety Management System (SMS). PRISM has the expertise to develop an SMS that is aligned with the ICAO and IATA standards and recommended practices.
